Everything we needed and more!

Beautifully clean, quiet design two bedroom apartment for a family of four for five nights. Apartment is located 650 m (8 minute walk) from the train station. Ladina met us upon arrival and was very quick to respond via WhatsApp if we had any questions. Free use of Basel’s transit system with Basel card. This enabled us to travel to France and Germany for the day without renting a car. Free use of washer and dryer (and detergent). Kitchen was well stocked and had complimentary beer, juice and bottled water on arrival. Very happy to enjoy complimentary Nespresso coffee on the terrace every morning. Plenty of supermarkets nearby (Denner, Coop, Aldi, Migros). One of the best experiences with short-term rental. Highly recommend staying at Basel Charme! Tip – when exiting the train station, if you see McDonald’s you are on the wrong side of the tracks. Must go back into the station and walk up the escalator and through the main station to the other side.

Best holiday apartments in Basel

Our family had the pleasure of staying in the Basel Charme apartments for 5 nights. Very easy to find, close to tram lines and the main train station. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge, big bedroom and full size bathroom. Access to washing machine and dryer ( FREE use of machines and washing detergent also FREE). 2 families holidaying together we enjoyed the convenience of staying in adjacent apartments (one above the other). Highly recommend. Very friendly owners who personally welcomed us to "our holiday house". Late checkout - no problem. Restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies within 200 metres. Highly recommend to family and friends. We would certainly stay here again.

Perfect Homelike stay

We went to Basel for the Swissbau and were 3 people staying at the apartment. Everything was perfect and the host was always available whenever needed!
